The magic of Christmas came alive in Goondiwindi this year, thanks to the extraordinary efforts of the Lion’s Club. A spectacular fireworks show illuminated the night sky, bringing joy and celebration to all of us. It was definitely a night to remember
The evening took a delightful twist as Santa, taking a break from the traditional reindeer and sleigh, made a grand entrance aboard the Bozo Bus. A heartfelt acknowledgment goes out to Rotary for orchestrating Santa’s arrival, moments of sheer joy for both the young and the young-at-heart.
Even a brief shower of rain couldn’t dampen the spirits of the enthusiastic crowd. The resilience and joy exhibited by everyone gathered were truly heartwarming. It’s a testament to the strong sense of community in Goondiwindi.
We thank all of the sponsors, volunteers, and event organisers that helped to make it happen. Your commitment and labour of love made many people happy and promoted a feeling of celebration and community.
The event not only celebrated the magic of Christmas but also provided a wonderful opportunity for families and friends to come together during this special time. It’s heartening to witness such strong community support, reminding us what’s important.
We are grateful to the Goondiwindi Lion’s Club, Rotary and all those who helped make our Christmas Eve genuinely wonderful.
