As we honour the courage and selflessness of our veterans on ANZAC Day, our hearts fill with appreciation. Today, we stand together in commemoration of the men and women who served their country.
We remember the valuable gift of freedom—purchased with the blood, sweat, and tears of those who came before us—in a difficult world. As morning breaks, we are awed by how lucky we are to live in a place where liberty thrives, protected by our brave soldiers and women.
So many people attending today’s services shows our community’s resilience and admiration for our heroes. We honour them by preserving the liberties they fought for and by being compassionate, united, and helpful.
As the bugle sounds and we pause, let us carry the flame of remembering and never forget the sacrifices of the past. We remain united by the ANZACs’ unbreakable spirit today and every day. In case we forget.
