Goondiwindi State High School hosted a red carpet evening for the opening night of their production of ‘Aladdin Jr’ at the Goondiwindi Cultural Centre. A packed house delighted to the Tony-award nominated and Academy award winning musical adaptation of the ancient Middle-Eastern folktale, meeting up with Aladdin, Jasmine, and the fast-talking, wisecracking Genie as they discovered mystical caves, took magic carpet rides, and outwitted the evil sorcerer, Jafar. Thank you to sponsors Goondiwindi Regional Council, Allen’s Pharmacy, Callandoon Studios, Boris and Helen Billing at Leichardt’s Garden Centre and GSHS P & C.
