This was a project that began from getting ideas driving around the farm rubbish dump.
I would find scrap metal that could be a Kangaroos paw or an Emus body. And so the sculpture developed
Made on the ground & not realising how big it was until we stood it up.
The map of Australian with the States & capital cities along with the amazing town of Goondiwindi & where the name was derived from the Aboriginal word meaning ‘Resting Place of the Birds’
To finish the sculpture the Southern Cross emblazoned across Australia.
