Robert and Lori MacKay’s restful and very inspiring country garden was enjoyed by approximately forty people last Sunday, 18th August.The morning was hosted by The Goondiwindi and District Garden Club, and we are extremely grateful to both Robert and Lori for opening their beautiful garden for our enjoyment. The result was a wonderful morning of fellowship and information sharing in the lovely surroundings of the “Budleigh” garden.
Our special thanks also to Robert who gave an update on the proposed inland rail route, and its likely impact on our community. Very interesting indeed! Hopefully the “experts” will give due consideration to wonderful local knowledge such as Roberts before making a final decision! All voted the morning to be a great success!
