On Monday 30th September local business owner of Engage & Create Consulting, Julia Telford, launched as an Inspiring Rare Birds Ambassador for the Goondiwindi region. What does this mean?! Well, for starters it means that their founder, Jo Burston came from Sydney and shared her story, along with an amazing panel of speakers that talked all things business in the bush – and how you can grow successful businesses from anywhere. They spoke about the importance of mentorship, how confidence and self belief is key, the main challenges they have had and how they over came them… the list goes on! Hosted in the beautiful Art Space, grazing boards by the Larder and some sneaky wines generously provided by the Victoria Hotel, it was a great day had by all; with connections made, lessons learnt and inspiration taken away aplenty.
