The Goondiwindi and District Cricket Association has been very proactive in encouraging female participation in cricket. We have been fortunate to have Yelarbon join this season, adding another strong side to the women’s competition. It’s great to see the competition re-commence following the COVID-19 border restrictions which have had a huge impact on the season. We look forward to the women’s competition continuing to grow, with the generous support of local businesses and community involvement.
GDCA would like to thank their continued major sponsors – Campbell’s Fuel Service, Goondiwindi Mower and Bearings, Mackenzie’s Home Timber And Hardware, Northwest Rural Supplies, Laser Electrical and Arthur Schofield And Co.
GDCA value sponsorship from these local businesses through the pandemic. It has helped the association to maintain financial stability in what has been such a trying time for both local sport and our community.
