Learn firsthand about your local river, its cultural heritage and the

creatures that call it home.

CottonInfo and its partners North West Local Lands Services, Southern Queensland Landscapes, MacIntyre Ag Alliance and the Australian Government are running a series of free, fun and informative kayak trips in late March 2022 at Moree, Bogabilla & St George. You will hear from entomologists and ecologists about what animals are contributing to natural pest control in your region and what you can do manage their habitats.

• Dr Cate Paul (CSIRO entomologist) – Pest suppressive landscapes
• Phil Spark (North West Ecological) – Local fauna species and habitats
• Professor Stuart Parson (QUT ecologist)– Innovative acoustic monitoring technology
• Kerrie Saunders (Yinarr-ma) – Cultural heritage and bushtucker

The kayak trip is led by professional kayak guides: Out and about Adventures. Kayaks and personal floatation devices will be provided.
