Hi All.
Following 30mm of rain over night Saturdays meeting will not proceed.
A further track inspection will take place this afternoon to determine the possibility of racing Sunday.
It is still drizzling misty here at moment with little chance of drying.
There is surface water in places and starting off with a soft 6, the rain takes it to a heavy 10 and doubtful for even Sunday.
An announcement about racing Sunday will be made by 5pm today.
Extremely unfortunate.
UPDATE:
Following a further track inspection at 10am, the rescheduled meeting for Sunday at Gunsynd Park has been abandon.
The next meeting is July 16 the Carrington Cotton Boggabilla Cup part of the Triple Crown Series.
It is the intention of the club to transfer the sponsorship packages from this meeting to create a Super Raceday on July 16 as part of the Carrington Cotton.
Very disappointing but the club has done all within our control to get underway but we are sure the July 16 date will now be bigger and better than ever.
Can not beat the weather.
