Regional Community Workshops

Queensland Ballet is thrilled to be visiting Goondiwindi on 6 – 7 September, as the company continues its commitment to regional QLD and sharing the magic of ballet beyond its Brisbane home. Supported by Shell’s QGC business and Ergon Energy Network and Energex, Queensland Ballet education teaching artists will be delivering in-school workshops and community classes for all ages, in 15 communities across Central and South East Queensland.  

Petiti Pointers (2-5 years)  $10.00 per person 
Designed to stimulate the imagination, musicality and natural movement in children aged 2 – 5 years. All participants will have a joyous experience with an important carer in their life.
Ballet for Adults $10.00 per person 
Based on QB Ballet for Seniors program, this gentle class is especially tailored for adults of all ages to experience ballet, with a focus on improving poise, core strength, memory and mobility.
Community class (6-11 years) $10.00 per person 
For students aged 6 – 11 years of age, these community classes give participants a taste of all the fun Queensland Ballet has to offer. This is an inclusive experience focusing on exploring ballet technique and artistry. No previous dance experience required.
Community Class (12-17 years) $10.00 per person 
For students 12 – 17 years of age, these community classes give participants a taste of all the fun Queensland Ballet has to offer. This is an inclusive experience focusing on exploring ballet technique. No previous dance experience required.
