When friends local North Star artist Karen Backus & Mudgee artist (formally of Goondiwindi) Kim Harding get together, Everyday Magic is created. Last Thursday, they celebrated their exhibition opening at Goondiwindi Regional Civic Centre Art Space. “Everyday Magic” is on now until 5 September 2022.
‘Everyday Magic’ is an exhibition that celebrates art and friendship, glorifying the simple beauty of the everyday. Both artists draw inspiration from their rural environment, from found objects and family. Their artworks spark memories of the familiar, evoking feelings of contentment and a sense of belonging.
