It was most heart warming to see so many people turn out today to watch our club release 75,000 yellow belly into the river covering an area from Boggabilla weir to Hilton weir. It was great to see so many children enjoying and getting hands on with the releasing of the fish. We hope to do the same towards the end of February but date has not been locked in as yet, but we will post on Facebook as soon as we know & all will be most welcome again.
A big thank you to our many helper who do such a wonderful job getting the fish into the river. Without their boats in the water it just couldn’t be done. It is great that they volunteer their time to us.
