The Goondiwindi Polo club was finally able to celebrate its 110th anniversary after several false starts!
And although the grounds have never looked so green, the lack of horses due to the recent rain did not stop everyone from wanting to party on the day.
The irony of it all- funds raised from the event will be used to irrigate the field and have a safer infrastructure to be used for years to come.
The day was made up of a fabulous Grazing Long Lunch, sponsored by Harry and Kit, which served locally sourced seasonal produce and great Australian wines. A cocktail on arrival let lunch goers admire the changes made to the โold shed barโ, that until recent years had fallen into great disrepair.
Along with the Lunch goers, the day was also supported by the very generous gold sponsors made up of Total Ag, North West Rural, Goondiwindi District Vets, RDO and Smithfieldโs Cattle Company.
