80 guests gathered at Goondiwindi homewares and lifestyle store Harry & Kit to celebrate the launch of the new rural magazine Galah. Women from around the Goondiwindi region, and some from as far as Brisbane and North Queensland, travelled to listen to Annabelle Hickson talk about her new magazine while they enjoyed drinks and nibbles from The Larder cafe. Galah is a modern voice from the bush, celebrating regional Australia and Annabelle joined Harry and Kit founder, Lillie Holcombe, to tell guests about her life on a pecan farm in northwest New South Wales, as well as what drove her to launch Galah magazine.
It was also an excuse for many to do some Christmas shopping at Harry & Kit and #buyfromthebush.
