We are looking for a full time / part time Retail Assistant to join our team and help deliver an exceptional experience for every customer who walks through our doors.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is friendly, reliable, confident with customers and takes pride in their work.

THE ROLE

As a Retail Assistant, you will play an important role in the day-to-day operation of our new retail flagship store.

Your responsibilities will include:

·  Welcoming customers and providing friendly, professional service

·  Assisting customers with product selection and providing knowledgeable advice

·  Operating Shopify systems, processing sales and payments

·  Receiving, unpacking and organising stock

·  Maintaining attractive and well-presented product displays

·  Keeping the store clean, organised and customer-ready

·  Assisting with stocktake and inventory management

·  Processing online orders where required

·  Supporting the wider team with general retail and administrative tasks

·  Building positive relationships with customers and representing the Goondiwindi Cotton brand

·  Helping with Social Media, such as instagrams reels and promos

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for someone who:

·  Has a genuine passion for customer service

·  Is friendly, approachable and confident speaking with customers

·  Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills

·  Is reliable, organised and takes initiative

·  Has a strong eye for presentation and detail

·  Can work independently as well as part of a team

·  Is comfortable learning new systems and processes

 

Previous retail experience is preferred but not essential. We are more interested in finding the right person with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
