Labourer Texas

Council has an opportunity for a motivated Labourer to join the Town Maintenance crew Texas on a permanent full time basis.

The role is to provide labour in cleaning and maintenance of Council managed community buildings, offices and public amenities to a high level of cleanliness as well as maintenance of parks and gardens in Texas.

Essential Experience, Skills and Qualifications:-

General Construction Induction White/Blue Card
Qld Car licence Essential (Truck licence desired)
Experience in the operation and maintenance of small plant including power tools and equipment used in cleaning, general maintenance tasks and town maintenance.

The appointment will be in accordance with the Queensland Local Government Industry Award – State 2017 and Council’s Enterprise Bargaining Agreement.

Pay Level – Stream B – Level 2 $55,517.80 pa.
*applicable allowances including overtime payable when worked and approved by Supervisor.

Status – permanent full time.
Hours of work – 38 hours per week
                               19 day month (Rostered day off)
