North West Rural Supplies

North West Rural Supplies is a locally owned and operated business based in Goondiwindi that services the agricultural and commercial enterprises throughout the Goondiwindi District. North West Rural Supplies has been operational since 1965. We enjoy what we do and are passionate about customer service.

We are looking for a Rural Merchandise Salesperson to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis.

The Role:

The Position reports directly to the Merchandise Manager

The successful applicant will be expected to take an active part in all areas of the store including but not limited to customer sales, ordering, preparing delivery orders, stock replenishment, merchandising, stocktaking and store presentation.

The normal working week is 40 hours with participation in a rotating Saturday Roster. On the job training is provided together with an attractive remuneration package.

Skills and experience required to be successful in this role:

You are enthusiastic, punctual and self-motivated

You are passionate about providing great customer service.

You must be physically fit to handle 20kg bags

You have a current driver’s license and ideally have a forklift license. A forklift license will be an advantage or a willingness to obtain one would also be looked upon favorably

Experience in rural merchandising or product knowledge in any of the following key sales areas of rural fencing, animal health products, pet supplies, or retails sales will be an advantage but is not essential.
