Blask would like to advertise for the role of a purchasing officer / Logistics co-ordinator.

Office hours 8:00am – 4:30pm.

Permanent/full-time.

Tasks included in this role:

  • Procurement management.
  • Cost Management.
  • Order Processing. Prepare P.Os delivery dockets.
  • Inventory control.
  • Building and maintaining business relationships with clients and suppliers.
  • Managing in-coming and out-going freight.
  • Formulate a spread sheet to track all purchases on our management software
  • Willing to learn new programs.
  • Freight & Logistic efficiency in materials in-coming and out-going.
  • Material take offs on engineer drawings.
  • Gathering QA data and making decisions based on the best interest of the company.
  • Unloading trucks/couriers.

Desired but not critical.

  • Read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Trade Back-ground
  • Forklift ticket.
