Another beautiful day was had at the Gundy Community Garden’s Mother’s Day Market, held yesterday 14th of May. A lovely steady flow of visitors and a successful day had by all. We offered free kids activities for a donation if they wanted to, and that was a great draw card for families and loads of donations to the gardens were given. Breakfast served at a reasonable price was also well received. Alan Fairbanks kindly donated his time playing tunes for us to enjoy. Mapr Dog wash were inundated! Girl Guides selling soft drinks, Kaloma selling yummy goodies made by the residents and the Men’s Shed also had a good day.
We would like to thank all our awesome volunteers for their help beforehand and on the day. Also a massive thank you to all the stalls both community volunteer groups and private ones for being there to make our day more special, to Alan for the great music and to the community for their continued support.
