The hundreds of campers rolled up their swags and hitched up their vans to depart on Sunday morning after three days and four nights of camping and live country music. From the emerging to the award winning artists, there was a tune for everyone. Campers and day revellers came from every state in the country including Tasmania along with a couple who flew in from New Zealand to be entertained in Texas.
With an estimated 1500 attendees, Artists and vendors in town, local businesses thrived over the weekend with many thanking the organisation for boosting local economy. Visitor spent time at local tourist hot spots within the Goondiwindi Region and the Southern Downs/Granite belt areas.
The Sponsors and Volunteers who supported the festival were second to none – some spending up to nine days on-site while others worked behind the scenes to ensure the event ran smoothly. Texas QLD Inc is thankful to those who volunteered and sponsored.
