Held in partnership with Tie Up the Black Dog, social enterprise Trademutt and counselling service This Is a Conversation Starter known as TIACS, Lucy Walker Pharmacy showcased a month-long mental health campaign, This is Our Conversation 2020, throughout July. With an aim to start conversations about mental health in rural communities, Goondiwindi businesses signed on to wear the bright, funky Trademutt work shirts once a week throughout July, coveting their social media with posts about starting conversations and mental health awareness in the bush.
Among a sea of Trademutt shirts, the Goondiwindi community swarmed to Customs House on July 24 to hear guest speakers Dan Allen and Ed Ross, founders of Trademutt, speak about mental health. Local health professionals provided resources amidst a varied cross section-section of workers and tradies, gearing them up with knowledge for the future.
