Topology is bringing more creativity and music just north of the border with a program of music and performance in November that is Bigger than Texas!
All good things come to those who wait, so they say. So now the big news is that the entire Goondiwindi Region will benefit from a massive creative program called Bigger Than Texas!
Topology has been actively working with local communities in the Goondiwindi Region for over two years as a result of the 2019 Queensland at Home Regional Tour.
In 2019/20, Topology worked with local farmers to create a work focusing on the effects of the drought on the Texas community – ‘Drought Stories’. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SCaux7ovIZw
Even during the rigors of travel restrictions and ongoing covid border closures, Topology delivered a number of programs for students, teachers and members of the community called North of the Border.
Topology is very excited to now be able to deliver another 12 months of creative programming to even more areas across the region. The Bigger than Texas! program has been made possible with funding from Arts Queensland, FRRR and the Tim Fairfax Family Foundation.
