Youth Live @ the Hut, a performance platform designed particularly for children 16 and under, was held on Friday August 4. The Youth event is held every second month allowing the youth of Goondiwindi and surrounds to hone their performance skills and stage craft.
“We had a wonderful crowd and list of performers at the event”, said Benita Klowss, current President of Performing Arts Goondiwindi. “The Youth event held right before the Apex Eisteddfod is the perfect place for students to rehearse their performance in a relaxed, friendly environment and we are always pleased to see first-time performers come along too.” Mrs Klowss said.
The Goondiwindi youth (and some adults) treated the audience to a fabulous Friday night of entertainment with everything from piano solos, singing, monologues, and instrumental performances.
“We at PAG Inc. are passionate about providing opportunities for performance and growth in our community and ‘Youth Live @ the Hut’ is one way we do this. We are grateful for the support of our sponsor Zimmerman Painting Contractors, who help keep this event running.”
Youth Live @ the Hut and 16+ Live @ the hut run consecutively throughout the year in Goondiwindi.
